For Jeronimo’s Pizza in Kortrijk, I developed a modern, responsive, and multilingual website built on top of my own modular CMS. The website is fully built using reusable modules, making it easy to manage content and functionality directly from the CMS.
Modular CMS: The website uses my own CMS, allowing pages, text, images, videos, and other content to be managed dynamically.
Dynamic Opening Hours: A system that automatically determines whether the business is open or closed based on the configured opening hours and displays the relevant opening or closing time.
Multilingual Support: Support for Dutch, English, French, and German through the CMS localization system.
Dynamic Content: Reusable content modules for menu items, banners, galleries, FAQs, and other website elements.
Responsive Design: Fully responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
SEO-Friendly Structure: Dynamic pages, URLs, and metadata managed through the CMS.
User-Friendly Management: The business can independently update content and settings without needing direct access to the backend or source code.
Hosting: Hosted on a Linux Ubuntu server running Nginx.
Technical Approach:
ASP.NET Core MVC 8 & C# – Developed as a scalable web application with a clear separation between presentation, business logic, and data.
Modular CMS – Use of a custom modular CMS that allows pages and functionality to be dynamically composed and managed.
SQL Database – Dynamic storage and management of website content, settings, and user data through a relational database.
Localization – Centralized system for multilingual content, currently available in Dutch, English, French, and German.
Dynamic Business Logic – Implementation of features such as automatic opening hours, open/closed status, and time-dependent content based on CMS data.
SEO & URL Management – Dynamic URL generation, URL rewriting, redirects, and metadata management through the CMS.
Security – Protection of sensitive data using AES encryption and controlled access to CMS functionality.
Responsive Frontend – Modern styling and a responsive interface optimized for a seamless user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Linux & Nginx – Deployment and hosting on an Ubuntu Linux server, with Nginx serving as the web server/reverse proxy.
Renewal and further development of Jeronimo’s Pizza’s website, built on top of my own ASP.NET Core MVC 8 modular CMS. The website received a refreshed design, improved user experience, and several new features. I also implemented multilingual support (NL/EN/FR/DE), dynamic content, SEO-friendly pages, and a system for dynamic opening hours and real-time open/closed status. The website is hosted on a Linux Ubuntu server with Nginx and can be fully managed through the CMS.
